Tuesday evening the DPOA hosted an open house and ribbon cutting in tandem with the Pomona Chamber of Commerce. The turn out was wonderful. Mayor Elliott Rothman officiated over the ribbon cutting with assistance from Miss Pomona and her Court, Carolyn Hamming DPOA President, and Larry Egan, DPOA executive director. Councilmembers Rodriguez, Atchley, Lantz, and Saunders were also on hand.

The 2009 Christmas Parade Committee met recently at Joey's BBQ to compare notes and make suggestions for improvement, and develop a strategy for the 2010 parade. Two pages of notes were taken which only means there is a great deal of room for improvement.
