dba256 was established in 2007 by Andi Campognone & Ron Faris. Ms. Campognone has worked as a curator on both the commercial and non-profit sides of the art community for over 20 years. Mr. Faris owns the boutique wine label VinNostro, centered in Northern California, specializing in high quality, single vineyard produced red wines. dba256 will be focusing on thematic group exhibitions of museum quality. Although technically a commercial gallery, dba256 will approach each exhibition with a critical essay written by a major art writer or critic much like an academic institution. dba256 is working in conjunction with the local art community running exhibits that will on occasion celebrate Cal Poly Pomona’s Downtown Center, Pomona College's Montgomery Gallery, Scripps College’s Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery, and the Claremont Museum of Art. Our specialty is pairing contemporary art exhibitions with an upscale wine bar lounge.

dba256 also presents the PO@256, a project gallery highlighting southern California’s most conceptual artists.
