The Pomona Christmas Parade Committee and the Downtown Pomona Owners Association (DPOA) would like your organization to be a participant and/or sponsor of the Pomona Christmas Parade! This year’s theme is Miracle on 2nd Street. The Grand Marshal is Legendary Boxer Sugar Shane Mosley.

The parade will once again take place in Downtown Pomona. It will travel west on historic 2nd street and end at Pomona’s City Hall where the Annual Holiday at the Plaza will be hosted in the afternoon. The parade is scheduled to be held on December 10th, 2011, 10am-12pm.

The parade is expected to bring residents, businesses, organizations, schools, and the community at large together to celebrate and enjoy the holidays. As of today, a wide variety of participants are expected with firm commitments from the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Post 30 American Legion, Pomona High School, Garey High School, Pomona Eagles Lodge # 2215, and many more. We are expecting over 100 entries and approximately 2000 participants.
