Jasmine’s essay was certainly the most powerful and the one that was right on target with the prompt! Im proud of all of them, but there was one that captivated everyone with the power of her words, and that certainly was jasmine.

We spent years on Pomona Antique Mall in the 80′s and 90′s having a shop just doors down from Larry. Larry was the best!!! All the dealers would always congregate to his antique shop on a daily basis to visit and get great deals. He talked often of his family. He was so proud of them and loved them so. We moved to the desert some years back and lost touch with him and many of our great friends there. Our wonderful memories of him and our years there have stayed with us. Sorry about the families and all the friends great loss. He will be missed, but will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences. Delphine and Jim Miller – Twentynine Palms, California

Is it too late to register for the Annual Chalkart Festival? I have an application filled out, but was wondering if there was an application I could download and send online instead. If not I’ll try to fax it in or drop off my application at the library.
